- "There are only three white blues singers, and Geoff Muldaur is at least two of them." ~ Richard
Thompson
- "Geoff has always been one of my favorite singers." ~ Bonnie Raitt
- "Someone I've always admired from afar." ~ John Cale
- "Geoff Muldaur was and is one of my musical heroes. When I listen to him sing and play, I can hear the
coal mine, the cotton field, and last, but certainly foremost, the boy's boarding school." ~ Loudon
Wainwright III
- "[Geoff's] the female Carolyn Hester." ~ Bob Dylan (one more Dylan lyric few can figure out!)
- "The Lovin Spoonful's favorite singer went and got better." ~ John Sebastian
- "Geoff has a voice like nobody else. When he sings you just have to listen. He has a way with a song
that makes you wish it would never end. The combination of Geoff's amazing voice and the way he
wraps it around a song makes his music irresistible." ~ Tom Rush

Geoff Muldaur is one of the great voices and musical forces to emerge from the folk, blues and folk-rock scenes centered in Cambridge, MA and
Woodstock, NY. During the 1960's and '70's, Geoff made a series of highly influential recordings as a founding member of the Jim Kweskin Jug
Band and the Paul Butterfield's Better Days group, as well as collaborations with then-wife Maria and other notables (Bonnie Raitt, Eric Von
Schmidt, Jerry Garcia, etc.). He left the stage and recording world in the mid-1980's for a working sabbatical but continued, however, to hone his
craft, albeit 'flying beneath radar'. He composed scores for film and television, garnering an Emmy in the process, and produced off-beat albums
for the likes of Lenny Pickett and the Borneo Horns and the Richard Greene String Quartet. And his definitive recording of "Brazil" provided
the seed for - and was featured in - Terry Gilliam's film of the same title.
With his magical voice and singular approach to American music in tact, Geoff is once again touring the world. Recent performances have
included The Lincoln Center in New York City, The Getty Art Center in Los Angeles, Royal Festival Hall in London, as well as folk and blues
festivals in Newport RI, Edmonton Canada, Dublin Ireland, San Francisco CA, Bergen and Notodden Norway to name a few. Geoff may be heard
regularly as a guest on Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" and has been featured on a variety of National Public Radio shows,
including Weekend Edition and All Things Considered.

Ellis Paul is a critically-acclaimed singer, songwriter, poet, and troubadour originally hailing
from a potato farming family in northern Maine. He is the recipient of thirteen Boston
Music Awards, second only to multi-platinum act, Aerosmith. Over the course of fifteen
years, Ellis Paul has built a vast catalog of music which weds striking poetic imagery and
philosophical introspection with hook-laden melodies.
The Boston Globe hailed him as a "songwriter's songwriter," saying "no emerging
songwriter in recent memory has been more highly touted and respected by songwriters."
USA Today's national feature on Ellis was titled "Best Bet For Stardom" which has come
true after years of non-stop touring. He opened for such notable musicians as Bill
Morrissey, Shawn Colvin, and John Gorka early on and quickly progressed to headlining
concerts and festivals.
Ellis has averaged 150 shows a year and travels across America and Europe, playing everyplace from church basements to Carnegie Hall. The
Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame invited Ellis to pay tribute to his hero Woody Guthrie, who has influenced and inspired Ellis in a profound way.
Woody's daughter, Nora, requested that Ellis compose the music for the lyrics of Woody's song "God's Promise" which was released and has
been covered by numerous artists.
Ellis' songs have appeared in the soundtracks for several movies, including "Me, Myself & Irene" with Jim Carey, and "Shallow Hal" with Jack
Black. Movie director, Peter Farrelly, has praised Ellis' music as "a national treasure". Ellis' songs have also appeared on numerous television
shows, including "Ed" and MTV's "The Real World".
- "Ellis Paul is a master storyteller. He combines the sensibilities of Bob Dylan and Bill
Morrissey and delivers it with a passion that sets him apart in the company of a new
breed of songwriters." ~ Performing Songwriter Magazine

Rob Ickes is a founding member of acclaimed Bluegrass group Blue Highway and also regularly performs
with Three Ring Circle and his own jazz trio. In 2010, he was named Dobro Player of the Year for the 12th
time by the International Bluegrass Music Association. IBMA notes that he is the most awarded
instrumentalist in the history of their awards. He was also named the USA Peter Cummings Fellow in 2010
by United States Artists, an organization that annually honors 50 of America’s finest artists across eight
disciplines with individual fellowships of $50,000.
In 2009, Ickes released his fifth solo album, a jazz project with pianist Michael Alvey and vocalist
Robinella. Ickes also performs and records with a "jamgrass acoustic power trio", Three Ring Circle, with
Andy Leftwich and Dave Pomeroy.
Ickes was the youngest dobro player on "The Great Dobro Sessions", produced by Jerry Douglas and Tut
Taylor, which won the 1994 GRAMMY Award for Best Bluegrass Album. He was also on the Alison Krauss
& The Cox Family album, "I Know Who Holds Tomorrow", which won the 1994 GRAMMY Award for Best
Southern Gospel. He has collaborated with Merle Haggard, Earl Scruggs, Tony Rice, Charlie Haden, David
Grisman, Alison Krauss, Willie Nelson, David Lee Roth, Dolly Parton, Patty Loveless, Peter Rowan, Claire
Lynch, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Notable collaborations include Merle Haggard's "The Bluegrass
Sessions", 2009 GRAMMY nominated "Earl Scruggs with Family & Friends, The Ultimate Collection: Live
at the Ryman"; and "Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson, Ricky Skaggs, The Three Pickers", which appeared on the
Billboard Bluegrass Chart for 138 weeks.
Active in dobro workshops and instruction, Ickes is the founder and producer of ResoSummit, a 3-day educational event held in Nashville annually
since 2007, with 100 students, 10+ faculty, and key luthiers, with workshops, master classes, and performances. He frequently serves as an
instructor at music workshops and camps, including NashCamp, Sore Fingers Week (UK), Rockygrass (CO), Wintergrass (WA), and Jorma
Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch (OH).
Jim Hurst was influenced early in his career by flatpickers such as Tony Rice and George
Shuffler, but Doc Watson and Clarence White especially. He also heard Merle Travis, Chet
Atkins, and Jerry Reed, calling his discovery of their fingerstyle playing “a turn in the
road” for him. His diverse tastes led him to play in several bands, playing country,
bluegrass, blues, jazz and other styles. His career was already growing when Holly Dunn
came calling and he has also performed with Sara Evans, Travis Tritt, and the McCarter
Sisters.
In search of more bluegrass playing, Hurst joined Grammy nominated and IBMA Vocalist
of the Year – Claire Lynch in 1995. A multiple-IBMA award winner, Jim Hurst is one of
the most versatile acoustic guitar players on the contemporary bluegrass circuit. Hurst
augments his flatpicking with hints of Merle Travis, and Jerry Reed, bending and sliding
until his notes take on an almost vocal quality. On his own recordings, Hurst’s list of
guests is long and impressive – Sam Bush, Mark Schatz, Scott Vestal, Michael Cleveland,
Viktor Krauss – and that barely scratches the surface. Still, the most powerful moments
simply involve Hurst alone with his guitar.
